What we see here is one of the natural calamities attacking people. It is a sheer and very true depiction of such real scenario. Artist has put a lot of effort to make us realize that against such life-or-death situations a single man is nothing more than a helpless person. This dramatic illustration, “The Storm on the Sea of Galilee”,  is painted by the Dutch Golden Age master Rembrandt. It is a dramatic depiction of the ‘calming the storm’ miracle done by Jesus.
